Delightful

Wonderful story! Great chemistry great depth of characters loved the narrator she was so believable in her traumatization of the characters! Loved it!

Absolute favorite!!!

Miss Newbold provided question In a boy meets girl story. She paints the picture to make one believe the story would continue along with a typical narrative. Then, not only does the story leave you questioning which way it would go, but it also allowed you to see what happens after the tail unfolds. Good job!!! and thank you!!!

absolutely LOVED

I can't wait to reread this over and over. When they first married and things were tense I wasn't sure if I'd finish. it bugged me that she played him and he loved her so...but then ... did she ... or did she love him too? and that's what kept me listening and ah I loved how it unfolded. beautifully done. bravo❤️

Wonderful!

This is the second in the series but I loved both books throughly. This author writes romance in such a tangible way that I could feel every hearts bump, bruise and swell. <sigh> sooooo good. And surprisingly it is very clean. Yet the passion behind the kisses is extraordinary without even one nipple tweet. Imagine! 😆

I accidentally started book 3 first then realized the previous books may hold valuable background. So I set aside book 3 and started over with book1. I am so glad I read them in order as it gave the overall viewpoint of Lord Ramsey (book3) much more depth of character. I will now move on to the to the final book and learn of Lord Ramsey's fate. Which I am now extremely invested in, and feel it would be best for me to start the book from the beginning and not where I left off around ch 10. Why because I want to drain every drop of romance from this lovely series!

The story was great but the narrator ruined it for me

I liked the odd, confused and innocent couple in this story, however the narrator ruined it. Either she doesn't really have an English accent and get fake one is horrible or she needs to swallow her saliva more often. The slurping while she read disgusted me and distracted from the story. I had to speed the story up 25% just to get through it.

It's a bit silly.

The narrator isnt as bad as I thought, but by no means was at all enjoyable. The book was predictable and Jane doesn't have a spine. It helps if the main character is likeable. Phillip was though. Im going to go ahead and listen to the last book anyway. I am interested to see how the main character does since he's in all 3 books. Otherwise, I would move on to something else.

Good Story

I really liked the development of this love story. I longed for more complications at the end after the last ball & confrontation between heroine & past “almost” love interest so there could have been a bigger realization of commitment to her marriage but that would have made for a whole different story, I guess. Ha! But I was happy at this ending as far as it went. I do not like the style of this narrator, she whispers, difficult to hear, talks too slow, I always speed up the book, making it too fast at times. Her male voice is way too feminine for my liking, almost did not listen due to the narrator.But so glad I did because it was very enjoyable otherwise. I loved the character Phillip. Thank you for the cute story!

I read the book’s narrator was not good but I can’t disagree more

I do love the book. I think the narrator is really good. She does voices really well and her speed, tone, and character interpretation is wonderful. I also do live the story. Finally a good story and plot without the language or situations that make me feel uncomfortable.

Loved this sweet story

This book was so heart-warming and sweet. I would highly recommend it. The narrator has an amazingly soothing voice. I like her male voice as some tend to overdo it. overall, it's a great read, and I can't wait to start the next one in this series!
